As you have likely heard, Atlassian’s annual Cloud pricing and packaging changes will take effect on October 16, 2024.

The pricing plan increase will affect multiple products and services, ranging from 5% to 20%, depending on the product and plan type.

But Why the Increase?

To sustain Atlassian’s commitment to innovation and align with industry standards, they’re updating their pricing and packaging for Jira Service Management (JSM) Cloud plans. These changes include moving features to their Premium plan and making it easier for customers to track assets and Virtual Service Agent usage with consumption-based pricing.

Atlassian’s platform allows customers to focus on work that matters with seamless collaboration experiences, workflow automations, and insights across their products and teamwork solutions.

What’s Next?  What is the best way to navigate these changes?

There are options to reduce the impact of the upcoming price increase:

  1. Customers can renew their subscription (or create a new quote) before Oct 16, 2024, PT to lock in current pricing.
  2. Customers can renew for a two-year term to have current fixed pricing for an extended time.
  3. For monthly customers: Customers can move to an annual subscription to lock in current pricing for a year, with savings on select tiers.
  4. Of course, contact your SelectStar representative by October 10, 2024, to lock in your pricing and discuss plan options!
SelectStar is here to assist all our valued partners in looking for potential cost-saving measures as we navigate this change!
